Lupu Bridge is a through arch bridge over the
Huangpu River in Shanghai, China, connecting the city's Luwan and Pudong
districts. It is one of the world's longest arch bridge and steel arch bridge.
The bridge, which cost 2.5 billion yuan, has a total length of 3,900-metre and
opened on June 28, 2003. Its main span is of 550 metres over the Huangpu River
of width 28.7m, height 100m and clearance below 46m.
